Carter Community Pool Safety Rules
For the safety and enjoyment of our guests, all pool visitors will be expected to abide by all rules on this page.
Changing clothes is not permitted in the pool area.
No one is permitted in the pool with bandages, open sores or wounds.
Smoking is permitted only in outside designated areas.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES are permitted under any circumstances.
No running, pushing or horseplay such as spitting water or splashing is allowed.
No one may spit on the deck, sit on the ropes or use profane language.
Equipment such as inner tubes, large floats, rubber or plastic balls, etc., which may be a hazard to bathers, will be restricted from the pool.
Play tubes will be allowed if they do not interfere with other bathers.
No towels are allowed in the water
No diving is allowed from the sides of the pool.
Non-swimmers are not allowed in the deep water.
Do not talk to the lifeguards while they are on duty.
Neither the pool personnel shall be held responsible for lost or stolen articles.
Persons who persist in disobeying the pool rules and regulations will be ejected from the pool.
Diving Board Rules
No horse playing on boards at any time.
Only one person on the board at all times.
Do not hang or step on the ladder while someone is on the board.
You cannot catch someone jumping off the diving board.
The only thing you can have on to jump off the boards are a life jacket. No arm floaties, puddle jumpers or goggles.
Only jump straight off the board.
Only one spring off the boards will be allowed.
Do not throw objects at divers or patrons around boards.
After jumping off board, exit at the closest ladder located at the sides of the pool.
Swimming is not allowed in diving area unless management provides otherwise.
